As a business mediator, Jörg Risse has overseen more than 50 mediation proceedings between companies and business owners. These proceedings involved disputes in the M&A sector, conflicts related to pharmaceutical and patent law, disputes in infrastructure projects and the automotive industry. He has also served as a mediator in complex collective bargaining negotiations.

Jörg Risse is accredited as a business mediator by CEDR – Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (London). Professional market observers unanimously rank Jörg Risse among the leading mediators in Germany (JUVE, Who’s Who Legal). Together with his team, he won the 2017 Round Table Mediation and Conflict Management (RTMKM) Excellence Award. His book “Wirtschaftsmediation” (C.H. Beck, 2nd edition 2022) is considered the standard reference work on business mediation.
